The School has been established as a centre of learning for advanced studies in the various areas of environmental science. The regular programmes offered by the School are M.Sc. and Ph.D.  besides a few short term courses. School offers Ph.D. Programme in: Environmental stress studies, Environmental Biology, Biodiversity and conservation biology, Biodiversity characterization, Aerobiology and allergy, Vegetation analysis through RS & GIS, Wetland biodiversity, Environmental chemistry, Environmental biotechnology and solid waste management, Aquatic microbiology, Microbial toxicology, Bioremediation, Climate change, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Geology, Disaster Management.
 

SHORT-TERM COURSES

A) Geoinformation Science and Technology (Remote Sensing , GIS and GPS)

Duration: 5 Months (340 hrs) , Both Full time and Part time (Classes will be arranged on Holidays for Part time candidates)
