About Us

The Dr. R. Satheesh Centre for Remote Sensing and GIS, under the School of Environmental Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, established in 2003 with the support of ISRO under the National Natural Resources Management System (NNRMS), the Centre brings two decades of expertise in geospatial sciences and remote sensing, offers a comprehensive Certificate Programme in Drone Repair and Maintenance. This course is tailored to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) sector. This programme is delivered in technical collaboration with Asia Softlab Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of the SG Group of Institutions, Malaysia, (international presence across Europe, Australia, and Asia-Pacific regions).

Designed with a hands-on approach, the course provides in-depth training on drone diagnostics, repair techniques, and preventive maintenance—ideal for students, technicians, and professionals aiming to enter or advance in the UAV industry (Course Brochure).

Who Can Apply?

Course is open to SSLC, +2 holders, graduates and postgraduates from any academic discipline. Applicants must be Indian citizens and between the ages of 18 and 60 years.

The duration of the course is 15 Days

Fee Structure

The total course fee of the programme is Rs.18,000/- which can be paid in 2 instalments.
