About Us

The Certificate Programme in Aerial Mapping and Data Processing (RGB, Photogrammetry & LiDAR) is offered by the Dr. R. Satheesh Centre for Remote Sensing and GIS, under the School of Environmental Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.

Delivered in technical collaboration with Asia Softlab Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of the SG Group of Institutions, Malaysia, this hands-on training programme is designed to meet current industry demands in drone-based mapping and geospatial analysis.

Participants will develop practical, job-ready skills in drone operations, RGB imaging, photogrammetric processing, and LiDAR technology preparing them for exciting careers in the fast-evolving fields of science, technology, geospatial intelligence, and aerial data analytics (Course Brochure).

Who Can Apply?

Prospective applicants, aged 18 and above, possessing SSLC certificate, a degree or postgraduate qualification or RPC (Remote Pilot Certificate) holders, are invited to apply for the course.

Duration and Periodicity

The duration of the course is 21-day

Fee Structure

The total course fee of the programme is Rs.35,520/- which can be paid in 2 instalments.

Those who want to reserve their seats while applying itself should remit an amount of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only).
