About Us

The Dr. R. Satheesh Centre for Remote Sensing and GIS, under the School of Environmental Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, offers a comprehensive training programme in Aerial Mapping and Data Processing (RGB, Photogrammetry & LiDAR), integrated with a DGCA-approved Drone Pilot Certification.

This intensive, hands-on course is conducted in technical collaboration with Asia Softlab Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of the SG Group of Institutions, Malaysia, with a global presence across Europe, Australia, and the Asia Pacific.

Participants will gain practical, industry-ready expertise in drone piloting, data acquisition, and geospatial processing, preparing them for high-demand roles in science, technology, remote sensing, and aerial data analytics (Course Brochure).

Who Can Apply?

Prospective applicants, aged 18 and above, possessing SSLC certificate, a degree or postgraduate qualification or RPC (Remote Pilot Certificate) holders, are invited to apply for the course.

Duration and Periodicity

The duration of the course is 30-days

Fee Structure

The total course fee of the programme is Rs.76,960/- which can be paid in 3 instalments.
